Health and Rehabilitation is designed to maximize the
comfort and independence of our clients. Our accommodations
include both private and semi-private rooms with cheerful
décor, individual climate controls, personal restrooms,
phones and cable TV. We also feature wireless internet service.
Our living
room is beautifully decorated and boasts a warm, cozy
fireplace as well as a colorful and stimulating aviary
for our clients’ enjoyment.
Our clients’ enjoy relaxed
socialization and independent respite in our pleasant
community setting so while recovering they feel like they
are in a home away from home. And our spacious gardens
and patios provide for the appreciation of nature.
While
dining in our charming dining room our clients’ are treated
to expertly prepared fresh, nutritious and delicious meals
prepared by our accomplished chef, under the supervision
of our Registered Dietitian. Individual health care needs
and food preferences are always taken into
account.
An array of delightful snacks are available throughout
the day.
Our
therapeutic recreation program is coordinated by our Certified
Activity Director and is designed to stimulate healthy
living including physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual
needs. Our specialists design activity programs that are
tailored to individual interests and abilities. Included
in our recreation and social activity program are a cooking
club, arts and crafts, music and concerts, monthly birthday
parties, and outdoor summer barbecues to name a few. We
also have a very special pet therapy program
and a Resident Council. And, for those clients’ that are interested there
are monthly outings. Clergy visits and services for all
faiths are also arranged.
Other special
amenities we offer include full-service beauty and barber
services and weekly manicures for our clients, activities
for the visually impaired, movies on our large screen
TV, and newspaper delivery.
